• Tata Group Stocks: Tata Trusts announced a strategic reorganisation plan for Tata Sons, proposing a return to its earlier operational model, which could potentially remove the need for a stock-market listing.
• Varmora Granito: Shares will list on Indian stock exchanges today. The IPO received bids for 5.34 crore shares against 3.39 crore shares on offer, resulting in 1.58x subscription.
• Pharma Stocks: The US will not impose any ad valorem tariff on certain speciality drugs and associated ingredients used to treat rare medical conditions imported from India and 19 other countries. The US Commerce Department published the country list ahead of a proposed 100% tariff on certain patented pharmaceutical imports and associated ingredients from September 29.
• Reliance, Airtel, Vodafone Idea: Reliance Jio added the highest number of wireless mobile subscribers in August at nearly 2.40 million, followed by Bharti Airtel with around 2.11 million additions. Vodafone Idea added approximately 506,000 subscribers, according to TRAI data.
• Clean Max Enviro Energy: Raised ₹2,500 crore through the issuance of green debt securities on a private placement basis.
• Natco Pharma: Increased its proposed investment in US-based biotechnology firm eGenesis Inc to $16.70 million, around ₹139 crore, from the previously disclosed $14 million.
• Zydus Lifesciences: USFDA conducted a cGMP inspection of the company’s manufacturing facility at SEZ II, Ahmedabad, which concluded with one observation.
• ITC: Acquired an additional 13,445 equity shares of Sproutlife through a secondary purchase. Following the acquisition, ITC now holds 100% of Sproutlife’s share capital.
• HCL Technologies: HCL Software, the software division of HCLTech, announced plans to acquire Croatia-based Robotiq.ai, an enterprise robotic process automation platform provider, to strengthen its agentic automation capabilities. The acquisition is expected to close in November 2026.
• Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases: Secured a ₹481 crore BHEL contract for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, trial runs, operation, training, performance guarantees, spares and handover of a 1,200 TPD cryogenic Air Separation Unit on a turnkey basis for BHEL’s 2,000 TPD coal-to-ammonium nitrate project in Odisha.
• NCC: Received a Letter of Acceptance for a ₹1,076.71 crore project from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, for drinking water supply under the Multi Village Scheme on the Yeleru Reservoir for the Anakapalli segment.
• Indian Railway Finance Corporation: Signed a ₹4,200 crore term loan agreement with Damodar Valley Corporation to finance renewable energy projects across Jharkhand and West Bengal.
• Vikram Solar: Secured a 400 MW module supply order from a reputed EPC player for decentralised solar projects being developed across multiple locations in Maharashtra.

BULK DEALS

• Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions: Augment India I Holdings sold 8.69 lakh shares for ₹111.98 crore at ₹1,288.40 per share and another 76.33 lakh shares for ₹983.95 crore at ₹1,289.01 per share. The transactions together represented a 7.25% stake worth ₹1,095.93 crore.
• Electrosteel Castings: Mauritius-based Belgrave Investment Fund sold 1.87 crore shares at ₹71.28 per share and another 1.01 crore shares at ₹72.33 per share. The transactions represented a 4.67% stake worth ₹207.14 crore.
• Bliss GVS Pharma: Anupam Rasayan India acquired 22.5 lakh shares, representing a 2.12% stake, for ₹162.74 crore at ₹723.29 per share.
• Paisalo Digital: Octaspace Realcon acquired an additional 65.32 lakh shares, representing a 0.71% stake, for ₹53.76 crore at ₹82.30 per share.
