- PB Fintech: Shares fell 36% after IRDAI proposed significant changes to insurance distribution economics. The company flagged potential pressure on general insurance revenue and agent commissions, while expecting limited impact on its life insurance business. HDFC Mutual Fund bought 25 lakh shares worth ₹320.57 crore.
- Dr. Lal PathLabs: Will acquire a 70% stake in SN Genelab for up to ₹168 crore in cash, with an additional earn-out of up to ₹31.5 crore. The acquisition will expand its advanced diagnostic services portfolio.
- Inox Green: Launched a QIP with a base issue size of around ₹300 crore and an option to raise an additional ₹100 crore. The indicative price is around 5% below the SEBI floor price of ₹174.64 per share.
- Piramal Finance: FY26 insurance commission income stood at around ₹200 crore. If the IRDAI proposal is implemented from April 2027 as proposed, FY28E RoA could face an 18–24 bps impact, while the company remains confident of around 50% YoY FY27E net profit growth.
- MCX: Shares will remain in focus after SEBI approved foreign portfolio investor participation in select non-agricultural commodity futures and options.
- Waaree Energies: Subsidiary Waaree Clean Energy Solutions entered India’s speciality gases market, targeting semiconductor and solar manufacturing and opening a new growth opportunity.
- Godrej Industries: Sold a 0.5% stake in Godrej Consumer Products for ₹450 crore and continues to hold a 23.23% stake in GCPL.
- Balaji Amines: Commenced commercial production of Acetonitrile at its Solapur plant, taking installed capacity to 1,440 tonnes per month. The expanded capacity will cater to domestic and international markets.
- LCC Projects: Emerged as the L-1 bidder for the ₹653.34 crore Chhoti Kalisindh Medium Irrigation Project in Rajasthan, involving a sprinkler-based irrigation system with solar integration.
- TCPL Packaging: Incorporated wholly owned subsidiary TCPL Energy Materials to manufacture lithium-ion battery separator films, marking its entry into the new energy-materials segment.
- Sterlite Technologies: Strengthened its Neuralis Data Centre portfolio with pre-terminated fibre trunk assemblies ranging from 48F to 6912F, targeting hyperscale and enterprise data centres amid rising AI, cloud and high-performance computing demand.
- FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa): Partnered with BOLD, L’Oréal’s corporate venture capital fund, to jointly invest in the next generation of high-growth Indian beauty and personal care brands.
- L&T Technology Services: Entered into a strategic partnership with Cognite to develop and deliver joint Industrial AI and data solutions for asset-intensive industries, combining LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence portfolio with Cognite’s Industrial AI capabilities.
- Wheels India: Opened its QIP on September 24 with a floor price of ₹2,197.10 per share. The company may offer a discount of up to 5% on the floor price.
BULK & BLOCK DEALS
- Sedemac Mechatronics: Around 48.8 lakh shares worth approximately ₹1,469 crore changed hands in a block deal at ₹3,010 per share. Private equity investors, including A91 Emerging Fund II and funds affiliated with Xponentia Capital, exited part of their holdings.
- Brainbees Solutions (FirstCry): NewQuest Asia Investments, a pre-IPO investor, sold 1.15 crore shares worth around ₹202 crore, while Goldman Sachs acquired 68 lakh shares worth approximately ₹119 crore.
- Nephrocare Health Services (NephroPlus): Polar Capital’s Healthcare Opportunities Fund acquired 25.46 lakh shares worth around ₹179.5 crore at ₹705 per share.
- PB Fintech: HDFC Mutual Fund acquired 25 lakh shares worth around ₹320.6 crore at ₹1,282.30 per share, on the same day the stock fell 36% following IRDAI’s proposed changes to insurance distribution commissions.
- BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle: Around 61.98 lakh shares changed hands for ₹513.01 crore at ₹827.60 per share. Bajaj Life Insurance, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Mirae Asset Mutual Fund, Kuwait Investment Authority FD F238, Nippon India Mutual Fund, Bandhan Mutual Fund and SBI Life Insurance acquired shares from Accel and 360 ONE WAM.
