STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Oil India: State-run Oil India plans to invest ₹15,000 crore over the next three years to drill deepwater exploration wells, according to Chairman and Managing Director Ranjit Rath.
  • ZEEL: Shareholders of Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) reappointed five directors at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • HCL Technologies: The IT major launched HCLTech Pulse, a dedicated business unit focused on helping enterprises with annual revenues of $500 million to $5 billion safely scale AI and modernise their technology infrastructure.
  • Puravankara: The Bengaluru-based real estate developer secured redevelopment rights for three residential societies in Goregaon West, Mumbai, with a gross development value (GDV) of ₹2,600 crore.
  • Tata Motors: The commercial vehicle manufacturer announced a price hike of up to 1% across its commercial vehicle range, effective October 1, citing rising commodity and other input costs.
  • GPT Infra: The company secured a ₹484 crore contract from Rail Vikas Nigam for the construction of Important Bridge 544, a 32×65.84-metre open-web steel girder bridge over the Mahanadi River, as part of the third and fourth railway line construction between Nergundi-Barang in the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.
  • BEL: Bharat Electronics secured additional orders worth ₹648 crore since its previous disclosure on August 26, 2026. The orders include laser-based IR jammers, communication equipment, cybersecurity solutions, thermal imagers, transducers, AI-based software solutions, TR modules, upgrades, spares and services, among others.
  • Wipro: The company launched Wipro STO360™, developed in collaboration with Aramco and SAP, to help asset-intensive organisations modernise and efficiently manage Shutdown, Turnaround and Outage (STO) operations.
  • Time Technoplast: The company successfully completed its greenfield packaging products manufacturing project at Bhilad, Gujarat, within the scheduled timeline. At an estimated 90% capacity utilisation, the plant is expected to generate approximately ₹100 crore in annual turnover.
  • Petronet LNG: The company approved the incorporation of a 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy to establish 10 compressed biogas (CBG) plants across India. Each plant will have a capacity of 18 MT per day, with an estimated total capital outlay of ₹1,200 crore.
  • Asian Paints: The company commenced commercial production of VAE (Vinyl Acetate Ethylene) at its manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, which has an installed capacity of 1,50,000 tonnes per annum.

BULK & BLOCK DEALS

  • Entero Healthcare Solutions: Surbhi Singh, through Prasid Uno Family Trust, the family-owned vehicle of Medlife co-founder Tushar Kumar, sold 4.1 lakh shares at ₹1,692.98 per share and another 3.3 lakh shares at ₹1,694.97 per share. The transactions collectively represented a 1.7% stake, valued at around ₹125.3 crore.
  • Rentomojo: Chiratae Growth Fund I, owned by venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures, sold 13.05 lakh shares, representing a 1.25% stake, for ₹67.93 crore at ₹520.61 per share. The sale was made from its 6.8% holding as of September 16, a day before the company’s listing.
  • Karamtara Engineering: Authum Investment & Infrastructure acquired 50.29 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.56% stake, for ₹176.17 crore.
  • Gland Pharma: BofA Securities Europe SA acquired 1.5 lakh shares, representing a 0.09% stake, from North Rock SG VCC for ₹42.4 crore at ₹2,826.60 per share.
