STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Chalet Hotels: The company aims to expand to around 5,500 hotel keys by FY30, while moving beyond its traditional asset-ownership model.
  • NMDC: The state-owned company plans to commence commercial thermal coal production between October and December and aims to sell around 1 MT of thermal coal in FY27.
  • Hyundai Motor India: The company is focusing on expanding its presence in rural markets, which it expects to contribute around 30% of total sales over the next three to four years.
  • HUL: The FMCG major is targeting a 22–24% EBITDA margin in the medium term and plans to increase capex to around 3% of turnover to support growth.
  • RIL: Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, plans to expand its Made-in-India technology globally, offering connectivity, digital products, enterprise solutions and AI technology in international markets.
  • TCS: HyperVault, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services, has secured 264 acres of land in Hyderabad to develop a large-scale AI data centre campus, with a total investment outlay of up to ₹70,000 crore.
  • Tata Motors: The company launched an all-cash voluntary tender offer to acquire all common shares of Iveco Group at €14.10 per share, valuing the Italian commercial vehicle maker at approximately €3.82 billion.
  • ICICI Bank, LIC: The RBI has approved LIC’s proposal to acquire an aggregate holding of up to 9.99% of ICICI Bank’s paid-up share capital or voting rights.
  • Dixon Technologies: The company plans to diversify into aerospace, defence, automotive, medical and industrial segments as part of its next phase of growth.
  • RPG Life Sciences: The company is scouting for larger API assets after spending ₹215 crore on two acquisitions in five weeks, with plans to scale its API business and expand its international presence.
  • Lemon Tree Hotels: The company signed two licence agreements for Lemon Tree Hotel and Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels in Bodhgaya, Bihar. Both properties will be managed by its subsidiary, Carnation Hotels.
  • Brigade Enterprises: Brigade Group launched Brigade Barcelona in Neopolis, Hyderabad. The premium residential project spans 4.04 acres and has an estimated revenue potential of over ₹2,700 crore.

BULK & BLOCK DEALS

  • Swiggy: BNP Paribas Financial Markets purchased 1.78 crore shares for ₹491.99 crore, while Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius I acquired 1.98 crore shares for ₹549.01 crore. Combined, the transactions represented a 1.36% stake in Swiggy.
  • Shankara Buildpro: Ohana India Growth Fund acquired an additional 1.64% stake in Shankara Buildpro for ₹51.88 crore through two transactions.
  • Unified Data Tech Solutions: Vikas Vijaykumar Khemani, founder of Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors, sold 1.07 lakh shares from his personal holding, representing a 0.53% stake, for ₹4.17 crore at ₹387.61 per share.
  • CARE Ratings: TenCore Partners Master sold 4.26 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.41% stake, for ₹73.57 crore at ₹1,725 per share.
  • ESDS Software Solution: Anchorage Capital Scheme I, managed by Anchorage Capital Fund, sold 10.03 lakh shares, representing a 0.85% stake, for ₹76.01 crore at ₹757.44 per share.
  • Tata Technologies: KIFS Enterprise acquired 1.25 lakh shares of Priority Jewels for ₹2.90 crore at ₹232.30 per share, while Aagam Investments acquired 1.98 lakh shares for ₹4.67 crore at ₹235.92 per share.
  • Tata Technologies: Former CEO and Managing Director Patrick Raymon McGoldrick sold 21 lakh shares, representing a 0.51% stake, for ₹164.85 crore at ₹785 per share.
  • Gland Pharma: Promoter Fosun Pharma Industrial, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group), sold 75.05 lakh shares, representing a 4.5% stake in Gland Pharma.
