STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Manipal Health Enterprises: The company will acquire Kinder Women’s Hospital in Bengaluru for a cash consideration of ₹130 crore. It has signed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Kindorama Healthcare Pvt Ltd to acquire the entire operations of Kinder Women’s Hospital in Doddanekundi, Bengaluru.
  • Biocon: Its subsidiary has received supplemental approval from the US health regulator for the Yesintek prefilled autoinjector. Yesintek is indicated for the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and active psoriatic arthritis.
  • One MobiKwik Systems: The fintech company has completed the transfer of its digital lending business to its wholly owned subsidiary, MobiKwik Distribution Services Pvt Ltd. The company has also appointed Manish Pathania, formerly associated with Bajaj Markets, as Chief Business Officer (CBO) of MDSPL to lead the vertical.
  • Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals: The consumer durables major expects growth to be driven by its expanded addressable market, premiumisation strategy and new product categories, including solar rooftops, wires and its recently launched water purification range.
  • Sammaan Capital: The company clarified that it is not an accused in any investigation arising from allegations raised in a public interest litigation (PIL) concerning its erstwhile promoter Sameer Gehlaut.
  • RailTel Corporation: The company has received a work order from the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) worth ₹1,66,80,29,314, including taxes.
  • Godrej Industries: The company has announced its entry into the private credit segment and plans to raise up to ₹2,000 crore through its maiden Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
  • Krystal Integrated Services: The company has received a ₹134-crore work order from Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation for providing integrated facility management services across the allocated regions of Mumbai and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar for a period of three years.
  • Exide Industries: The company has invested ₹200 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Exide Energy Solutions (EESL), through a rights issue. Following this investment, Exide Industries’ total investment in EESL has increased to ₹5,102.23 crore.
  • Atlanta Electricals: The company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (APTRANSCO) for an order valued at ₹193.92 crore.
  • Interarch Building Solutions: The company has secured a ₹128-crore order for the manufacturing, supply and erection of a pre-engineered steel building system for a leading international FMCG company.
  • Jubilant Ingrevia: The company has entered into a binding agreement with Zettaone Technologies India to acquire a 40% strategic stake for ₹189.2 crore.

BULK & BLOCK DEALS

  • One 97 Communications (Paytm): Resilient Asset Management B.V., owned by Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma, sold 1.92 crore equity shares, representing a 3% stake, in One 97 Communications for ₹2,948.94 crore.
  • Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww): YC Holdings II LLC, backed by Y Combinator, sold 7.46 crore equity shares, representing a 1.19% stake, in Billionbrains Garage Ventures for ₹1,435.2 crore. The shares were sold at ₹192.16 per share.
  • Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services: Kedia Securities, owned by ace investor Vijay Kedia, acquired 20 lakh shares, representing a 1.48% stake, in Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services for ₹32.94 crore at ₹164.72 per share.
  • Cyient: HDFC Mutual Fund sold 5.32 lakh equity shares, representing a 0.5% stake, in Cyient at ₹854.01 per share, in a transaction valued at ₹45.47 crore.
  • Welspun Investments & Commercials: Lloyds Enterprises acquired 97,622 shares, representing a 2.67% stake, in Welspun Investments & Commercials for ₹17.47 crore at ₹1,790 per share.
  • Nxt-Infra Trust: Larsen & Toubro acquired 2.08 crore units in Nxt-Infra Trust, an infrastructure investment trust focused on road assets, for ₹199 crore at ₹95.33 per unit.
  • PG Foils: Promoter entities Pipalia Cables and Wires acquired 1 lakh shares in PG Foils for ₹1.96 crore at ₹196.28 per share, while Foils India Laminates purchased 1.5 lakh shares at ₹195.65 per share, valued at ₹2.93 crore. Together, the purchases represented 2.11% of the company’s paid-up equity.
