- SAIL: SAIL and BCCL signed an MoU for the joint development and operation of SAIL’s Indikatta Ramnagore Coal Block and BCCL’s East of Damagoria (Kalyaneshwari) Coal Block in West Bengal, marking a step towards developing domestic sources of coking coal.
- Fortis Healthcare: The company said it is confident that an independent forensic audit will establish that it had no role in the transfer of shares by erstwhile promoters Malvinder and Shivinder Mohan Singh. The Supreme Court allowed the audit to proceed while clarifying that the Delhi High Court’s observations were only tentative.
- Star Health: Reported an 11% rise in its retail policy base along with an increase in the average cover on fresh policies in the 11 months since the GST was scrapped.
- Fujiyama Power Systems: Plans to establish a 1.2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh as part of its 2030 vision to become an integrated renewable energy player.
- Petronet LNG: Sought shareholders’ approval to continue paying commission to directors, capped at 1% of annual profits, for another five years from FY27 to FY31.
- ITC: Strengthening its presence in the fresh dairy segment in Eastern India through its flagship Aashirvaad brand, targeting rising demand for branded milk and value-added dairy products across Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
- NTPC: Partnered with EDF Power Solutions India to jointly develop, own and operate pumped storage, hydropower and other renewable energy projects, along with distribution businesses.
- Tata Steel: Extended its sustainable steel production pact with a province in the Netherlands to support the company’s goals under its Green Steel Project.
- Welspun Corp: Secured an order worth USD 412.5 million in the US market.
- Vodafone Idea: Announced a free international roaming offer with select postpaid, prepaid and enterprise plans, aimed at expanding roaming access for global travellers.
- Ather Energy: Plans an aggressive expansion into overseas markets, with exports expected to make a “meaningful” contribution to revenues over the next 5–7 years.
- NMDC: Commissioned its 2 MTPA pellet plant at Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, as part of a ₹5,427 crore integrated project comprising an iron ore processing plant, slurry pipeline and pellet plant connecting Bacheli operations with the Nagarnar steel plant.
- Cupid: Board approved the conversion of up to 30,00,000 warrants, in one or more tranches, into an equivalent number of equity shares of Baazar Style Retail.
- Ceigall India: Created security in connection with the Rupee Term Loan facility sanctioned to subsidiary and project SPV Ceigall Sahebganj Bettiah Highway for project financing.
- Signatureglobal (India): Announced its entry into Gurugram West, or Farrukhnagar, with plans to develop an exclusive 194.22-acre ultra-luxury farmhouse villa destination.
- Omaxe: SEBI restrained the company from accessing the securities market and prohibited it from dealing in securities, directly or indirectly, for three months.
- Godrej Industries: Will invest an additional ₹335 crore in subsidiary Godrej Investment, which holds equity shares of Godrej Capital and Godrej Wealth & Asset Management.
- Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers: Board approved a ₹797 crore purchase order to Larsen & Toubro on a lowest-tender basis for engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, commissioning and guarantee runs for the revamp of the ammonia plant at Thai, aimed at reducing specific energy consumption.
- NTPC Green Energy: Commenced commercial operations of the first 81.34 MW capacity of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, out of the 650 MW solar component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC project of subsidiary NTPC Renewable Energy, effective September 26.
- Zydus Lifesciences: USFDA conducted an on-site inspection of the company’s pharmacovigilance and post-marketing surveillance systems at its New Jersey office from September 22–25, 2026, concluding with nil observations.
