We want to keep you informed about recent updates and changes in compliance regulations that affect your accounts. In accordance with a recent circular issued by the SEBI, we would like to bring to your attention the mandatory requirement of nomination for both trading and Demat (DP) accounts in all restart cases.
The latest extension for the updation of the nomination of all clients is 30th Nov 2023
As per the SEBI circular dated: February 24, 2022
Why Is Nomination Mandatory?
The SEBI has made it mandatory to have a nomination for all trading and DP accounts. This step is taken to protect the interests of investors and ensure the seamless transfer of assets in case of unforeseen circumstances.
As a result, without a valid nomination in place, your trading account will not be restarted. We kindly request you to take action on this immediately to avoid any inconvenience.
