STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Piramal Finance: Shares of Piramal Finance are likely to remain in focus on Monday after the company sought shareholder approval to raise up to ₹4,000 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), rights issue, or preferential allotment.
  • NATCO Pharma: The stock is expected to stay in the spotlight after the company received tentative approval from the USFDA for its Olaparib tablets. However, the related litigation process is still ongoing.
  • Alembic Pharma: Alembic Pharma may also attract investor attention following NATCO Pharma’s tentative USFDA approval for Olaparib Tablets (100 mg and 150 mg). Under their partnership, NATCO will manufacture the product, while Alembic will market and distribute it in the US. The addressable US market for the drug is estimated at approximately $1.4 billion for the 12 months ended March 2026.
  • Vodafone Idea: Shares of Vodafone Idea will remain under watch after reports indicated that lenders have broadly agreed with the company’s revised financial projections, including its revenue outlook. However, lenders are seeking additional comfort from the promoters before approving a fresh funding round.
  • Cipla: Cipla is likely to remain in focus after the USFDA conducted an inspection of InvaGen’s Central Islip facility from July 13–17, 2026, and issued one Form 483 observation.
  • Laser Power: The company’s shares are expected to remain active after a strong stock market debut on Friday. Laser Power & Infra, an integrated manufacturer of power cables and transmission products, surged 10 percent and hit the upper circuit, closing at ₹288.66 on the NSE.
  • Nuvama Wealth Management: The company has received an administrative warning from SEBI following an inspection of public issues managed by it as a merchant banker. The regulator advised the company to exercise greater caution and ensure that similar observations are not repeated in the future.
  • Samvardhana Motherson International: The company has received approval from the Japan Court for acquiring an 81 percent stake in Yutaka Giken and an 11 percent stake in Shinnichi Kogyo Co.
  • Aditya Birla Capital: The company has invested ₹484.5 crore through a rights issue in Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.
  • SpiceJet: The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a penalty of ₹1 lakh on SpiceJet for using deceptive design practices, commonly referred to as dark patterns, on its flight booking platform.

  • Landmark Cars: Helios Mutual Fund acquired 2.45 lakh shares, representing a 0.59 percent stake in Landmark Cars, for ₹12.79 crore.
  • ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India: Axis Mutual Fund sold 5.94 lakh shares, equivalent to a 0.5 percent stake in the Chennai-based company, for ₹138.4 crore at a price of ₹2,330.03 per share.
  • Updater Services: SIS increased its stake by acquiring an additional 6.53 lakh shares, representing a 0.97 percent stake in Updater Services, for ₹12.66 crore at ₹193.71 per share.
  • Rappid Valves India: Aegis Investment Fund acquired 2.06 lakh shares, equivalent to a 3.97 percent stake in Rappid Valves (India), for ₹6.77 crore at ₹328.40 per share.
