- HDFC Bank: The private lender’s board has approved Rajiv Kumar’s appointment as an Additional Director (Independent Director) for a four-year term starting June 30. He is also designated as the Part-time Chairman, pending clearance from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Biocon: The firm finalized the acquisition of 1,15,36,956 equity shares of Biocon Biologics from 127 selling shareholders. Payment was made by issuing 87,86,362 fully paid-up equity shares on a preferential basis at ₹376.41 per share. This raises Biocon’s paid-up equity share capital from ₹810.45 crore to ₹814.85 crore.
- Tech Mahindra: The IT company announced that its step-down, wholly owned subsidiary, Leadcom Integrated Solutions Myanmar Company Limited, went into voluntary liquidation effective June 29, 2026.
- Godrej Properties: The realty developer secured a nearly 47-acre land parcel via an outright buy off Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) located in South Chennai.
- RITES, Container Corporation of India: RITES inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) to deliver project management consultancy (PMC) services. The partnership covers terminal development and upgrades from the concept phase to final commissioning.
- SJVN: The enterprise signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) to supply electricity from its upcoming Himachal Pradesh hydroelectric facilities, which include the 66 MW Dhaulasidh, 210 MW Luhri Stage-I, and 382 MW Sunni Dam projects.
- SIS: The board gave in-principle approval for a share buyback plan valued up to ₹120 crore. This marks the company’s fifth buyback since debuting on the stock market in August 2017. Post-completion, cumulative capital returned to investors via dividends and buybacks since listing will reach roughly ₹720 crore.
- Yes Bank: The board cleared a capital raise of up to ₹7,500 crore via equity securities and an additional ₹8,500 crore through debt instruments.
- Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals: The company signed a definitive pact to purchase an 85% equity stake in Mumbai’s Aequitas Healthcare for a consideration of ₹20.8 crore.
- Lloyds Engineering Works: The firm reported that its stake in Lloyds Advance Defence Systems Limited (LADSL) dropped to 85% after the unit issued shares to the parent entity and two other investors via a private placement. Consequently, LADSL is no longer a wholly owned subsidiary but remains a regular subsidiary.
- Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy: The company’s 50:50 joint venture alongside Hassan Allam Construction bagged a contract worth close to $560 million for Egypt’s West Minya Solar Power Project in the Minya Governorate.
BULK & BLOCK DEALS
- Indo Tech Transformers: IIFL Asset Management picked up 2 lakh shares (a 1.88% stake) from promoter Shirdi Sai Electricals for Rs 59.7 crore. The transaction was executed at Rs 2,985 per share.
- Bliss GVS Pharma: Institutional backer Mateus bought 11.5 lakh shares (a 1.08% stake) from Arian Investment for Rs 56.35 crore. The block changed hands at Rs 490 per share.
- Goodluck India: SageOne – Flagship Growth OE Fund expanded its position by purchasing 2.5 lakh shares (a 0.75% stake) in the Garg family-promoted company for Rs 35.5 crore at Rs 1,420 per share. On the flip side, promoter Manish Garg divested 2.9 lakh shares (a 0.87% stake) at Rs 1,420.81 per share, totaling Rs 41.2 crore.
- Multi Commodity Exchange of India: UTI Mutual Fund acquired 14.65 lakh shares (a 0.57% stake) for Rs 425.01 crore. The deal was done at an average price of Rs 2,899.23 per share.
- Pondy Oxides & Chemicals: Promoter Manju Bansal offloaded 9 lakh shares (a 2.94% stake) for Rs 114.32 crore, pricing the transaction at Rs 1,270.27 per share.
- Ramco Systems: Oregon Public Employees Retirement System picked up 1.9 lakh shares (a 0.5% stake) at Rs 772.4 per share, totaling Rs 14.73 crore. Concurrently, Zen Securities liquidated 2.39 lakh shares (a 0.63% stake) at Rs 785.4 per share, valued at Rs 18.78 crore.
- Shankara Building Products: Promoter The Ballygunge Family Trust bought 1.36 lakh shares (a 0.56% stake) for Rs 1.68 crore at an execution price of Rs 123.54 per share.
