STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Gland Pharma: The company’s stock will remain in focus after it announced a strategic CDMO partnership with a global pharmaceutical company.
  • Advanced Enzyme Technologies: The company’s shares will remain in focus after its board approved a buyback of up to ₹69.7 crore through the open-market route.
  • Juniper Green Energy: The company has emerged as the winning bidder for 230 MW under SECI’s 1,000 MW FDRE Round-the-Clock (RTC) renewable energy tender, at a tariff of ₹5.26 per unit.
  • Hindalco: Hindalco plans to add 10 KTPA of capacity at Kuppam by FY2029, involving an investment of around ₹768 crore.
  • Signature Global: The company and its subsidiary, Signatureglobal Business Park, have entered into Collaboration Agreements for land parcels measuring 11.887 acres and 13.73 acres, respectively, in Sohna, Gurugram.
  • NMDC: The company has fixed the lump ore price at ₹5,250 per tonne and fines price at ₹4,500 per tonne, effective August 8.
  • RITES, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation: RITES has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HPCL to provide consultancy services for the development of railway siding infrastructure across HPCL’s facilities.
  • Vedanta Aluminium Metal: The company’s subsidiary Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO) has been declared the preferred bidder for the Karlapat Bauxite Block. The block is at the G2 exploration stage, covers an area of 1,822.61 hectares, and has estimated mineral reserves of around 248 million tonnes.
  • Aarti Pharmalabs: The company has approved a capacity expansion for the development of an intermediate block, involving an estimated capex of ₹149 crore.
  • Jindal Worldwide: The board has approved a rights issue of up to ₹650 crore, with the proceeds aimed at making the company debt-free by FY27 and strengthening its balance sheet.
  • Kotak Mahindra Bank: The bank’s stock will remain in focus after it introduced a hybrid home loan that allows customers to lock in interest rates for up to 65 months, providing greater EMI certainty and improved financial planning.

BULK DEALS

  • Electronics Mart India: Anandam Enterprises acquired 21.08 lakh shares for ₹35.2 crore at ₹166.98 per share, while Navodya Enterprises purchased 32.2 lakh shares at ₹165.36 per share, valued at ₹53.24 crore. Collectively, the purchases represented a 1.38% stake in the company.
  • Prataap Snacks: Authum Investment & Infrastructure acquired an additional 2.73 lakh shares, representing a 1.14% stake, for ₹32.32 crore at ₹1,179.86 per share. Earlier, on Wednesday, Authum Investment had acquired a 0.91% stake in Prataap Snacks for ₹25.45 crore.
  • RPP Infra Projects: Promoter P Arul Sundaram sold 6.97 lakh shares, representing a 1.4% stake, for ₹3.98 crore at ₹57.24 per share.
