- RIL: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has specified maximum LPG production levels for 21 refineries and upstream companies, with their combined production potential estimated at 63,810 tonnes per day. This is more than double India’s domestic LPG output in FY26 and around 70% of the country’s daily consumption. Reliance Industries’ older refinery has been assigned the largest production target of up to 18,000 tonnes per day. Separately, Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce have announced their strategic intent to partner on the design, development, manufacturing and delivery of a sovereign indigenous combat engine for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme.
- Amber Enterprises: The electronics manufacturing services company expects to begin manufacturing Chinese smartphone brands, including Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, from the March 2027 quarter and plans to double production in the second year.
- Punjab & Sind Bank: The public sector lender is exploring various fundraising options, including the QIP route, to dilute the government’s stake and comply with SEBI’s minimum public shareholding norms. SEBI requires all listed companies to maintain at least 25% public shareholding.
- Dixon Technologies: The electronics manufacturing services major has issued a continuing and irrevocable $220-million corporate guarantee on behalf of its subsidiary, Padget Electronics, in favour of Lenovo Ireland International Ltd.
- ONGC: The PSU has secured a licence from the US Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), allowing it to resume full operations in Venezuela after years of restricted activity due to sanctions-related risks.
- Jindal Stainless: The company plans to invest ₹900 crore to expand its cold rolling capacity, catering to increasing demand from sectors such as automotive, appliances and food processing.
- Lodha Developers: The real estate developer plans to launch 21 housing projects by March next year, with an estimated revenue potential of around ₹24,000 crore, as it looks to expand amid strong housing demand.
- PB Fintech: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued a show-cause notice based on observations made during an inspection of Policybazaar Insurance Brokers. The company will submit its response within the prescribed timeline. The inspection was conducted from October 21 to October 25, 2024, and IRDAI has also issued a Letter of Advice concerning certain documentary and process-related matters.
- Juniper Green Energy: The company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from SECI for 230 MW of contracted capacity under a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power project.
- BEML: The company has secured a $6.65-million order from Mauritius for the supply of BE220G Hydraulic Excavators, which will be deployed across key African markets, including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire and neighbouring countries.
- CESC: CESC subsidiary Purvah Green Power has received a Letter of Award from SECI for the supply of 70 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power from an ISTS-connected renewable energy project in India.
BULK & BLOCK DEALS
- WeWork India Management: 1 Ariel Way Tenant Limited, the UK-based affiliate of WeWork Global, sold 35 lakh shares at ₹697.55 per share, according to exchange data. The entity held a 14.82% stake in WeWork India as of June 2026.
- Sudarshan Chemical Industries: Rahul Pradeep Rathi and his father, Pradeep Ramwilas Rathi, sold a combined 1.84% stake in Sudarshan Chemical Industries for ₹148.22 crore.
- Rolex Rings: Mirae Asset Mutual Fund acquired 9.3 lakh shares in Rolex Rings at ₹178.59 per share, in a transaction valued at ₹16.61 crore.
- Solvex Edibles: Unicorn Fund acquired 2.08 lakh shares, representing a 2.3% stake, in Solvex Edibles from Dhirajbhai Vaghjibhai Koradiya for ₹36.4 lakh at ₹17.50 per share. Koradiya held a 2.7% stake in the refined edible oils producer as of March 2026.
- LEAP India: Smallcap World Fund Inc, owned by US-based Capital Group, acquired an additional 88.56 lakh shares, representing more than a 2% stake, for ₹142.77 crore at ₹161.22 per share. The fund already held a 2.52% stake in KKR-backed LEAP India.
- Indigo Paints: HDFC Mutual Fund acquired an additional 5.8 lakh shares, representing a 1.2% stake, in Indigo Paints for ₹68.16 crore at ₹1,173.26 per share. HDFC Small Cap Fund already held a 6.44% stake in the company as of June 2026.
- Menon Bearings: Promoters Sucheta Nitin Menon, Aditya Nitin Menon and Anshul Nitin Menon sold 9.96 lakh shares, representing a 1.77% stake, in the auto components maker for ₹23.92 crore at ₹240 per share.
