What are the charges for pledging and unpledging shares?

A charge of ₹20 + GST per pledge/unpledge request per ISIN, irrespective of quantity is applicable.
Example:
1. Pledging Shares:

  • If you pledge 100 shares of a single scrip (ISIN) in one request, the charge will be ₹20 + GST
  • If you pledge the same 100 shares in five separate requests, the charge will be (₹20 + GST) × 5

2. Unpledging Shares:

  • If you sell pledged shares, the system will automatically unpledge them, and unpledging charges will apply based on the number of pledge requests made earlier
  • For instance, in the above example, if the 100 shares were pledged in five separate requests, selling them will incur unpledge charges of ₹20 × 5
