When does a client receive their Contract Note?

When does a client receive their Contract Note? 

A Contract Note is issued by the stockbroker at the end of the trading day (if any transactions have been executed by the broker on behalf of the client on that particular day)

Electronic Contract Note: Sent via email on the same day.

Physical Contract Note: Takes a few days to reach the registered address via post.

It is issued in the format prescribed by the stock exchange (WEB).
