How to Add RMoney as a Beneficiary for Fund Transfers?
By: Akriti Tomar | Date : Sep 24, 25
You can transfer funds to your RMoney account only from the bank accounts that are registered with us. To enable this, you need to add RMoney’s bank account as a beneficiary in your netbanking portal. Below are the detailed steps:
Adding RMoney as a Beneficiary in HDFC NetBanking
- Login to your HDFC NetBanking portal.
- Navigate to Add Payee.
- Select Add a Merchant (eCMS) Payee.
- Enter the required details:
- Payee Nickname: Any name of your choice (e.g., RMoney).
- RMoney Account Number: RAGH35 + Your Client Code (Example: RAGH3512345).
- Email ID: Enter your registered email ID.
- Click Continue.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Continue.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Click Continue to confirm.
Your beneficiary account will be activated within 30 minutes.
Important:
- For the first 24 hours, as per HDFC Bank’s policy, you can transfer up to ₹50,000 (in full or in parts) to the newly added beneficiary.
- After 24 hours, the transfer limit will be as per your Third-Party Transfer (TPT) limit.
Adding RMoney as a Beneficiary through Other Banks
If you do not have an HDFC account, you can still transfer funds seamlessly by adding RMoney’s eCMS bank account as a beneficiary using your bank’s NetBanking portal.
- Look for options such as eCMS, Corporate Payment, or Merchant Payment while adding the payee.
Once added, you can initiate transfers similar to any regular beneficiary payment.
Instant Fund Transfer Option
HDFC account holders can also make use of HDFC eCMS for instant fund transfers to their RMoney account.
