
How to Open a Minor Demat Account in RMoney?

Opening a minor Demat Account with RMoney is a simple and hassle-free process that allows parents or guardians to manage investments for their children until they turn 18. This guide provides a step-by-step overview, including all the documents required to open a minor account offline.
Documents Required to Open a Minor Account are as follows:-
Application form
- Completed minor account opening form (PDF).
PAN
- Minor’s PAN copy, attested by the guardian.
- Guardian’s PAN copy, self-attested.
Date of Birth (DOB) Proof
- Any one of the following (digital copy acceptable):
- Birth certificate attested by the guardian.
- School leaving certificate.
- Passport.
- Mark sheet issued by a higher secondary board.
Passport-size Photographs
- Recent photographs of the minor.
- Recent photographs of the guardian.
Bank Proof
- Any one of the following for the minor’s bank account:
- Cancelled cheque.
- Latest bank statement.
- Passbook copy.
Legal Guardian Letter
- Required only if the guardian is not a parent.
Address Proof
- Minor’s address proof attested by the guardian (Passport or Aadhaar).
- Guardian’s self-attested address proof (any one: Passport, Aadhaar, Driver’s licence, Voter ID).
Steps to proceed:
Email scanned copies of all completed forms and documents to askus@rmoneyindia.com for initial review.
After approval, courier the signed physical documents and a cheque in favor of Raghunadan Capital Private ltd. to the following address:

- The minor account is typically opened within 48 – 72 working hours after all documents are submitted and verified.
