How to E-Sign Documents?

E-signing is an essential step in the online modification process for updating details such as address, bank information, contact number, and email. This process requires Aadhaar-based authentication through OTP verification.

Note:-

  • Your Aadhaar card must be linked to your mobile number.
  • There are no charges for e-signing documents on DigiLocker.

Steps to E-Sign Documents on DigiLocker

  1. Visit DigiLocker and log in.
  2. Click on Drive.
  3. Navigate to Documents and select “Upload File”.
  4. Upload the document you want to sign and click on “Sign”.
  5. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on Get OTP.
  6. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile and tick the consent box.
  7. Click Submit to complete the e-signing process.
  8. Download the signed document by clicking the “Download Icon”.
