STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Kotak Mahindra Bank: The bank has signed a Business Transfer Agreement (BTA) with Deutsche Bank AG to acquire its retail banking, private banking, and wealth management business in India, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
  • NTPC Green Energy: Its subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power has won a 193 MW wind power project in the MPPMCL auction at a tariff of ₹4.17/unit.
  • Godrej Properties: The company emerged as the highest bidder for a 4.95-acre residential land parcel in Sector 151, Noida, acquiring it for ₹331.75 crore through a NOIDA e-auction.
  • Hexaware Technologies: The company has launched Tensai for Reasoning Ops, the first commercially available stage of its Agentic ITOps platform, designed to enhance enterprise operations through AI-driven decision support.
  • Newgen Software Technologies: Its UAE subsidiary has received a Letter of Award worth KWD 875,000 for a core insurance system (PAS) replacement project.
  • Max Healthcare: The company has acquired 100% voting rights and a 50.22% economic interest in Yerawada Properties Pvt. Ltd., paving the way for a 450-bed super speciality hospital in Pune.
  • BPCL: The PSU has secured an allocation of 100 MW under the MPPMCL wind power tender at a tariff of ₹4.12/unit through a reverse auction.
  • H.G. Infra Engineering: The company has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% stake in WR ER Part C Power Transmission Ltd. from REC Power Development for an awarded transmission project.
  • RailTel Corporation: RailTel has received a ₹107.6 crore order from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. to provide an MPLS VPN network on a rental basis for 60 months.
  • Rane (Madras): The company will acquire the friction business of Hindustan Composites on a slump sale basis for an enterprise value of ₹370 crore.
  • DCM Shriram: The board has approved acquiring the entire equity stake in four industrial salt manufacturing companies.
  • Wealth First Portfolio Managers: The company has acquired a controlling stake in Wealth First Advisors Pvt. Ltd. at an equity valuation of ₹102.15 crore.

BULK & BLOCK DEALS

  • Genus Power Infrastructures: Chiswick Investment (GIC Group) sold 3.35 crore shares (11.03% stake) worth ₹955.6 crore through multiple block deals.
  • Indo Tech Transformers: Promoter Shirdi Sai Electricals sold 1.99 lakh shares (1.88% stake) worth ₹66.41 crore. This follows another 1.88% stake sale in the previous session.
  • Shankara Building Products: Promoter entity The Ballygunge Family Trust acquired an additional 10.02 lakh shares (4.13% stake) worth ₹12.75 crore at ₹127.25 per share.
  • Axiscades Technologies: Promoter Jupiter Capital sold 10 lakh shares (2.35% stake) worth ₹166.77 crore at ₹1,667.76 per share.
  • Energy Infrastructure Trust: Rapid Holdings 2, a subsidiary of Brookfield Corporation, sold 3.97 crore units worth ₹302.13 crore at ₹76.01 per unit.
