STOCKS IN NEWS

  • PNB: Punjab National Bank’s board has approved raising up to USD 1.5 billion in foreign currency through a Medium-Term Note (MTN) Programme. The funds will be raised via its PNB IFSC Banking Unit at GIFT City through bond issuances under the programme.
  • NBCC (India): NBCC has entered into a formal agreement with the Government of Seychelles to develop the $75 million Ile Aurore Housing Project, comprising 1,008 affordable housing units along with supporting infrastructure.
  • Hirect: Hirect has secured its maiden export order from the United States for traction motor assemblies, marking its entry into the U.S. market. Deliveries are scheduled during FY27.
  • Vikran Engineering: The company has successfully commissioned the strategically important 132 kV Miao–Namsai transmission line in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • RCF, GAIL: Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) and GAIL have signed an MoU to establish a gas-based urea plant in Maharashtra with an annual production capacity of 1.27 million tonnes.
  • Waaree Energies: The company reported a 15.39% YoY increase in consolidated net profit to ₹891.87 crore for Q1, while revenue from operations stood at ₹7,931.79 crore.
  • Vinati Organics: The company posted a 12% YoY decline in consolidated net profit to ₹108.86 crore in Q1, while total income increased to ₹704.91 crore.
  • ACME Solar Holdings: The company has secured ₹3,404.57 crore in long-term project financing from Power Finance Corporation for its 250 MW FDRE Phase-III project under ACME Urja One Pvt Ltd. PFC will be the sole lender, with a repayment tenure of 19 years.
  • Chalet Hotels: The hospitality company reported a consolidated PAT of ₹86.1 crore for Q1, while total income (excluding residential business) came in at ₹514 crore.
  • Dabur India: Dabur reported a 15.3% YoY rise in consolidated net profit to ₹553.61 crore for Q1. Revenue from operations grew 10.56% YoY to ₹3,764.39 crore.
  • Vedanta Power: The company reported a standalone net loss of ₹449 crore in Q1, compared to a ₹75 crore profit in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income stood at ₹1,844 crore.
  • Eicher Motors: Eicher Motors posted a 21.4% YoY increase in consolidated PAT to ₹1,462.51 crore for Q1, supported by record sales volumes. Revenue from operations rose to ₹6,632.42 crore. The board also approved an investment of ₹1,225 crore for Phase I of its greenfield manufacturing expansion in Andhra Pradesh.

BULK DEALS

  • Go Digit General Insurance: ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund acquired 57.21 lakh shares, representing a 0.61% stake, from Peak XV Partners Growth Investments III for ₹139.02 crore at ₹243 per share.
  • TIL: Singularity Equity Fund I, managed by Singularity AMC and mentored by market veteran Madhusudan Kela, purchased 5.26 lakh shares, representing a 0.63% stake, in TIL for ₹11.78 crore at ₹223.72 per share.
  • KPIT Technologies: The Massachusetts Institute of Technology reduced its stake in KPIT Technologies by selling 40 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.45% stake, for ₹243.6 crore at ₹609.09 per share. The institute held a 3.11% stake in the company as of June 2026.
