NIFTY INDEX DAILY REPORT

Breaking a multi-session losing streak, Nifty 50 displayed recovery, starting the session at 23,330.20 and rebounding from an early low of 23,314.80 to intraday high of 23,466.80. By the end of the session, the index gained 0.35% to settle at 23,429. Broad market participation drove the gain, amid dynamic accumulation across defensive and interest-rate-sensitive pockets—led by Healthcare, Real Estate, Consumer Staples, and key insurance counters such as HDFC Life . Institutional flows turned favorable as Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) temporarily halted their aggressive outflow trend, turning net buyers with ₹599.54 crore. Meanwhile, Domestic Institutional Investors sustained market stability with ₹1,019.69 crore in net equity cash purchases, further bolstered by softening international crude benchmark prices below the mark of $100.

Bank Nifty index settled with a modest gain of 136.20points at 56,494.90, despite mixed performances among its components, managing to sustain its upward trajectory. Starting the session with a minor positive tick at 56,361.90, the index briefly dipped to a daily low of 56,269.55 before touching the day’s high of 56,510.95. Strong buying interest in key heavyweights, led by Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, and HDFC Bank helped absorb selling pressure seen across state-owned banks and select private lenders like Federal Bank and AU Small Finance Bank. Strong support from Domestic Institutional Investors (₹1,019.69 crore net buy) alongside light net purchases from Foreign Institutional Investors (₹599.54 crore) successfully defended the 56,400 technical base.

Nifty Realty index emerged as a sectoral gainer, advancing 1.24% to finish at 854.65. After starting the day in positive territory at 845.55, above its prior close of 844.20,the index maintained a firm upward trajectory, climbing to a high of 856.65 after dipping to a session low of 844.80. Bullish momentum was propelled by solid demand for key developer and interest-rate-sensitive counters, amid  sustained domestic institutional backing and cooling international crude prices below the mark of $100.

NIFTY DAILY CHART

The Nifty50 continued to trade with positive bias for the fourth consecutive trading session and has managed to gain 0.35% to settle at the level of 23,429, above the crucial 23, 350. RSI is also seen pulling itself from the oversold zone to the level of 37.54, indicating room for upside in the index. Thus if the index manages to pull itself above the mark of 23,450 and sustain above the same, then we may see nifty reaching 23,600 in the short term. On the contrary, failing to trade above 23450, could weaken the nifty and to the low of 23,116.
