Nifty aur sensex do important stock market indices hain jo stock market ki strength depict krte hain. Equities ke liye Sensex oldest stock market index hai. Isme Bombay Stock Exchange ki top 30 listed companies included hain. Ye 45% of the index free-float market capitalization ko represent krta hai.

Nifty, on the other hand, top 50 companies jo ki National Stock Exchange par listed hain unko include krta hai. Nifty 62% of the index-free-float market capitalization ko represent karta hai.
