Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty rebounded strongly, snapping a three-session losing streak after recent declines triggered by West Asia war tensions.
At around 2:50 PM, the Sensex surged 975 points to 80,092, while the Nifty climbed 323 points to 24,804, supported by strong buying in heavyweight stocks.
Markets had fallen nearly 4% in the previous three sessions, and today’s recovery was largely driven by value buying at lower levels.
