Kya IPO investments par tax lagta hai?

IPO investments par as such koi tax nahi lagta hai. However, jab aap apne IPO me allot hue shares ko sell karte hain tab apko tax dena padta hai. Agar IPO se mile shares sell krte time apko koi monetary profit hota hai to use capital gain consider kiya jata hai. Capital gain pr tax is basis par lagta hai ki apne un shares to kitne time tak hold kiya hai. Agar apne shares ko 12 months se kam time ke liye hold kiya hai to wo short term capital gain mana jaega. Aur agar apne un shares ko 12 months se zyada k liye hold kiya hai to wo long term capital gain mana jaega.
