STOCKS IN NEWS

  • Glenmark Pharmaceuticals: The company’s shares will remain in focus after its US subsidiary agreed to pay $15.28 million to settle litigation with Humana Inc.
  • OMCs: State-run Oil Marketing Companies, including Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), will remain in focus as crude oil prices climbed to around $90 per barrel.
  • Firstsource Solutions: The company’s shares will remain in focus after it entered into a partnership with Cresta to deliver AI-powered technology solutions.
  • L&T: The company has signed a Business Transfer Agreement with its arm Vyoma.AI to transfer its data centre and cloud services business for ₹1,400 crore.
  • BEML: The company has secured an order worth ₹184.25 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics for the manufacturing and supply of Light Combat Helicopter fuselage aerostructures.
  • Saatvik Green Energy: Its subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries has received a ₹400.16-crore order from a domestic independent power producer/EPC player for the supply of solar PV modules. The order is scheduled to be executed by March 2027.
  • Canara Bank: The stock will remain in focus after the bank raised its 1-month MCLR by 5 bps to 8.05%, 1-year MCLR to 8.80%, and 3-year MCLR to 9.10%.
  • Zydus Lifesciences: The company’s subsidiary Sentynl Therapeutics and Mereo BioPharma Group plc have entered into an option and licence agreement covering the US commercialisation and global manufacturing rights for Alvelestat for AATD-LD.
  • HG Infra Engineering: The company has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Department of Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Government of Rajasthan, for the operation and management of the ITI Bhiwadi Cluster under Component-I of PM-SETU. The company’s share is 17.10% of the estimated project cost of ₹241 crore.
  • KFin Technologies: The company has announced the rollout of Klarity, an Agentic AI solution designed to address two operational challenges in financial institutions—false acceptance of skilled forgeries and wrongful rejection of legitimate behavioural signature variations.
  • Diamond Power Infrastructure: The company has secured two orders worth ₹195.48 crore from Rajesh Power Services for supplying 11 kV Medium Voltage underground power cables for PGVCL projects under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF) scheme and the System Improvement (Urban Underground) programme in Gujarat. The orders are to be executed over the next 12 months.

BULK & BLOCK DEALS

  • Metropolis Healthcare: Promoter entities Duru Shah Family Trust and Metz Advisory LLP each sold 10.5 lakh shares of Metropolis Healthcare for ₹59.22 crore, taking the combined transaction value to ₹118.44 crore. The shares were sold at ₹564 apiece, with the combined transaction representing a 1.01% stake.
  • Univastu India: Taurus Mutual Fund acquired 3.77 lakh shares, representing 0.99% of the paid-up equity, for ₹4.9 crore at ₹130 per share.
  • Rolex Rings: German investment firm Bayerninvest KVG MBH, on behalf of ERI Bayerninvest Fonds Aktien Asien, acquired 8.98 lakh shares, representing a 0.33% stake, for ₹15.33 crore at ₹170.59 per share.
  • RPP Infra Projects: Chennai-based construction and infrastructure company Diva Projects acquired 8.48 lakh shares, representing a 1.71% stake, in RPP Infra Projects for ₹4.99 crore at ₹58.90 per share.
