No, pledged shares cannot be lent under the Stock Lending and Borrowing (SLB) mechanism. You can only place SLB orders for shares that are available in your unpledged holdings. When an SLB order is successfully executed, the shares are debited from the lender’s Demat Account and credited to the borrower’s account.
