NIFTY INDEX DAILY REPORT
The Nifty 50 experienced a subdued trading session, starting at 24,249.55 before ending with a a gain of 0.28% at the level of 24,317.15 the benchmark index took a breather to cement its recent progress, fluctuating between a peak of 24,331.40 and a floor of 24,187.10. After a slow start marked by limited price movement, a mid-session buying momentum pushed the index beyond the 24,300 mark. Strong performances from major IT stocks, particularly Infosys and Tech Mahindra, provided crucial backing, keeping the index safely above the key 24,200 floor even as investors weighed minor profit-booking against positive international market trends and declining oil prices.
Bank Nifty experienced a soft, range-bound session, underperforming the broader market as it gave up part of the previous day’s gains. The index opened slightly lower at 57,127.05 and traded within a tight band, reached the intra day low of 56,768.80, and later bounced and reached the intra day high of 57,193.15, before settling the session at 57,147.50 While private banking heavyweights like HDFC Bank provided underlying support to keep the index above its critical 56,800 floor, weakness in PSU banks and rotation into IT stocks capped any significant upside, leaving Bank Nifty locked in its ongoing consolidation channel.
Nifty Auto index posted a sharp recovery, climbing 1.63% to finish close to its session peak at 28,279.10. Shaking off yesterday’s dip, the sector started at 27,841.25 and gathered significant buying following an initial slump, bouncing from an intraday low of 27,720.25 to hit the high of 28,321.60. Widespread accumulation in key auto manufacturers and two-wheeler giants, fueled by optimistic sales outlooks and targeted bargain buying at lower levels thus pushing the auto index higher. Strong advances from major players like Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor, and Eicher Motors provided solid momentum, easily absorbing soft spots in auto component stocks and driving the index well back above the 28,000 threshold
Nifty Realty index faced selling pressure, underperforming the broader index by sliding roughly 2.06% to close near its session lows at 899.50. The index opened lower at 911.35 compared to its previous close of 918.45, briefly touching an intraday high of 914.05 before profit-booking dragged the index down to the low of 896.75. The drop was largely driven by heavy losses in major constituents like Phoenix Mills, which dropped over 5.5%, alongside moderate declines in names like Prestige Estates. Though select real estate stocks such as Sobha, Lodha Developers, and DLF managed modest gains, their support was insufficient to prevent the index from breaking below the key 900 psychological level.
NIFTY DAILY CHART
The Nifty managed to pull itself above the mark of 24,250 sustaining its five day’s rally, with Fed keeping interest rate unchanged, providing a push to the index. Thus if index sustains the 24,350, it can further be the fuel to reach for the next upside destination of 24,500.With RSI at 57.66, is hinting towards ample scope for the further upside in the index. If the index takes a breather and falls below the key support of 24,250, we may witness a short term correction towards 24,100.

Equity Market Technical Analysis Snapshot: Jul 30th, 2026
NIFTY50:

Nifty 50 gained 0.28%, opening at 24,249.55 and witnessing a highly volatile session. The index initially moved higher to an intraday high of 24,342.95, but profit booking at higher levels led to intraday swings before it finally settled at 24,317.15. Despite the volatility, the index continues to maintain a bullish short-term structure by trading above its 11-DMA and 30-DMA, although it remains below the 200-DMA, indicating that the broader trend is yet to turn decisively positive. The RSI at 57.66 reflects improving momentum with room for further upside. Immediate resistance is placed at 24,440 followed by 24,600, while 24,200 and 24,100 are expected to act as key support levels. A sustained move above 24,440 could extend the rally, whereas a break below 24,200 may trigger short-term profit booking. .
BANKNIFTY:

Bank Nifty slipped 0.10% in a volatile trading session. The index opened at 57,127.05, declined to an intraday low of 56,768.60, and later recovered to hit 57,236.65 before closing at 57,147.50, reflecting a lack of directional conviction. The index continues to trade below its 30-DMA and 200-DMA, but remains above the 11-DMA, suggesting a sideways trend with a mildly positive short-term bias. The RSI at 49.44 indicates neutral momentum. Immediate resistance is seen at 57,350 and 57,800, while support is placed at 56,900 and 56,650. A decisive breakout above 57,350 could improve sentiment, whereas a fall below 56,900 may invite renewed selling pressure.
| INDICES | SUPPORT | RESISTANCE | TREND |
| NIFTY50 | 24200 | 24440 | Bullish |
| BANK NIFTY | 56900 | 57350 | Sideways |
NIFTY MID SELECT:

Nifty Mid Select ended almost flat, down 0.04%, after a volatile session. The index opened at 14,675.85, rallied to an intraday high of 14,732.40, but faced resistance and corrected sharply to 14,610.65, finding support near its 30-DMA before closing at 14,676.65. The index continues to trade above its 11-DMA, 30-DMA, and 200-DMA, keeping the broader trend bullish despite intraday weakness. The RSI at 54.01 indicates healthy momentum. Immediate resistance is placed at 14,770 and 14,870, while 14,600 and 14,530 remain key support levels. Sustaining above 14,770 could trigger fresh buying interest, while a break below 14,600 may lead to short-term consolidation.
NIFTY IT:

Nifty IT advanced 0.23% but formed a shooting star candlestick, signaling potential exhaustion after a strong rally. The index opened around 31,055.40, climbed to an intraday high of 31,846.40, but witnessed persistent profit booking throughout the session and closed at 31,194.55. The sector remains above its 11-DMA and 30-DMA, but continues to trade below the 200-DMA, indicating that the broader trend is still sideways. The RSI at 70.76 has entered the overbought zone, suggesting that some near-term correction or consolidation cannot be ruled out. Immediate support is seen at 30,800 and 30,500, while resistance is placed at 31,300 and 31,900. A sustained move above 31,900 would strengthen the bullish outlook, whereas a break below 30,800 could lead to profit booking in the near term.
