NIFTY INDEX DAILY REPORT

The Nifty 50 experienced a muted, negative trading session, starting slightly in the red around the 23,888–23,890 zone. Investors remained defensive across the board, preventing the NIfty from mounting a serious challenge toward the critical 24,000 threshold. This sluggishness was attributed  to several macro pressures, major one being the rise in crude oil prices, which is  hovering close to $95, firm American bond yields, and relentless offloading by FII. Despite targeted accumulation in private lenders alongside backing from local institutions, the index breached the support of 23,800, to settle the day at 23,779.15, leaving the benchmark locked in tight consolidation beneath major supply zones.

The Nifty Bank index witnessed intraday weakness, sliding from its previous close  of 57,369.65 to begin the session lower at 57,343.30 and conclude around 57,088.30, marking a dip of roughly 0.49%. Despite an initial push toward a session high of 57,426.85, persistent distribution dragged the sector down to an intraday low of 57,002.95. Broad-based selling across state-run lenders and major balance-sheet heavyweights dictated the downturn, easily overshadowing pockets of strength among a few private banking constituents. Catalyzed  by sustained foreign fund liquidation and general macroeconomic risk aversion hitting financial equities, the index failed to defend upward moves, ending the day 57088, down by .49% on a daily basis.

Nifty Realty index experienced intraday selling pressure, retreating from its prior close of 907.90 to open higher at 910.65 and mark a session high of 910.70 before sliding downward to settle the day at 892.50,down by 1.7%. The index slipped below the 900 psychological support mark early in the morning and continued to drift lower through afternoon trade, touching an intraday low of 892.40. Sentiment in the rate-sensitive real estate space remained subdued as broader market headwinds amid elevated global bond yields, rising crude prices, and sustained foreign institutional outflows, prompted profit booking across prominent developers, leaving the sector index pinned near its daily lows by the closing bell.

NIFTY DAILY CHART

The Nifty failed to gather momentum and closed the day at 23,779.15, falling below the support level of 23,800. The Nifty50 has been on a losing run for the third straight trading session.
Furthermore, the index is under pressure as the RSI has fallen below the 50-point mark and is currently near 34.72. Additionally, the index has fallen below the 15 EMA of 24,064. Thus the index to gain momentum and must break and sustain above 23,800 for further upside towards 24,000 level else it may reach for the downside destination of 23,650
